For nearly 50 years, Fredericksburg Preschool, Inc. (FPI) has been nurturing curious minds, joyful learning, and strong families right in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. We’re a nonprofit, play-based, parent-run cooperative preschool with one simple belief: “Creating a lifetime of learning… right from the start.”
At FPI, parents don’t just wave goodbye at the door, they’re part of the magic! From classroom support and field trips to fundraising and school care, our community rolls up its sleeves to make something truly special.

We’re thrilled to announce our 10th Annual Online Auction, happening April 10–12, 2026
This three-day online event is open to everyone and draws enthusiastic bidders from Fredericksburg and beyond. Last year, thanks to our generous supporters, we raised over $6,000 — and this year, we’re aiming even higher! Every bid helps us keep tuition affordable for families, purchase new playground equipment, and fund scholarships for families in need. So mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready to bid for a great cause.
